Questions about pitch

Are there any areas of the presentation you would like to give any more detail on?
My music pitch went well but there is always parts where i didn't give enough information about and that is how I'm going to show the window being smashed and also how i will do this with out engaging attention from the public. I may do this whole scene near a scrap yard or ask permission to go in there and smash a car window but otherwise i will need to take this part out of my music video.


What did your audience identify as the strengths of your music video idea?
The strengths that the audience may have identified would be the choice of clothing i will have in my video and also the idea of having the clothes a certain colour like red. as i said about the colour in my presentation i saw most people nodding their heads because they thought it was a good idea and that they can easily know who the main person was in my video.


What did your audience identify as areas of improvement?
The areas that the audience said i can improve on will probably be the idea of moving to a different location because being local can seem quite boring so exploring somewhere else could make the video seem more entertaining. Another area to improve on will be the age group that i have chosen for this song, my age group estimation was 17-25 but i was told that many 13 year olds' are acting like gangsters so i may have to reduce my age group to 13-25. 


What changes will you make to your music video concept based on the feedback you received?
when considering feedback into my presentation i will say that i got a lot of help from the audience and that most of the information told to me can help me out with my video. The feedback that i was told was about my locations, narrative throughout video, ethnicity, cast, younger aged gangsters, gang detected, avalibility to clothes, transport, background (dark), pace of lyrics, gang causing mayhem and other camera styles. All these points will be thought about before i attempt to start my music video, i will need to think about lighting and location and also about my cast that i will have in the video. Other feedback that really helped me out was the idea of being able to include the main cast member in the video for the whole time and also what really helped was the timing of day and that at twilight the lighting can varyn throughout this time period so technically i have to chose either night time or day light.

My artist identity

Demay

Demay is 25 year old man and he is a UK hip hop artist from west hertfordshire, just outside north London.
He has been making music for 5 years and over those 5 years he created some singles which were soon turned into an album.
Demay is still hoping to make it onto the charts with his songs.


The clothing that i will like my performer to wear will be baggy jeans and a white shirt with a designer jumper over the top and also accessories which will be a snapback (hat) and also a G-shock watch and for the shoes i will want the performer to wear Nike high dunks because this will all be an image about life on the streets. 

All these clothes will match the scenery that my song will have in the video. I will like them to wear these clothes because all these clothes have a meaning, the meaning is that they are red and red means danger. Red will work well with the scenery and how he is the main culprit of all this.

These two picture are just some of the pictures that i think Demay will want turned into a video for the song because the song is all about gangs and how this women in the song is annoyed by a gang of boys which smash her window and cause problems for her. This video is all narrative and illustrating because when you see what happens will have an effect on you rather than having something else happen.

Colours

The colours that i will use to show my artist identity will be

because these colours will stand out from the rest and it will show a meaning throughout the song. These 3 colour were chosen by me because to me these colours have a meaning that will suit the song and they stand out because there vibrant colours apart from black but that's a base colour which will make the others stand out.

Imagery


The imagery that i have going through my head is having a gang that always hang around on a corner and also having someone be thieved of there personal belongings and also having the police around but not getting involoved of the crimes happening. It will be hard to include the police in my media video because they are hardly around.
actor

Having halil as the actor in my music video will be good because i think he will suit the role of being the main star and his appearence will match the vocals of the artist. Halil will also be a confident figure who i can trust and we put in 100% into the music video.
