Permission to film
We didnt have to ask for any permission on where we filmed because all the locations that we used during our filming were not private and we didnt have to ask. We also didnt go into any private zones when filming so that also made it less chance of being questioned and told off by people that live around the area.

location reccie
These are the possible locations me and Gareth (my partner) have decided that we want to use for our music video. In our music video we will be using a numerous amounts of locations in London such as the South Bank/London Eye the wobbly bridge and a living room . Me and Gareth have researched the areas we are filming and we look forward to filming in these locations.
In our music video i wanted different locations in London to make the video more appealing and interesting to the film. Filming in london may be a hard location to film but it is a very public area and getting go footage may be a tedious task if we get our timing.
The London eye is a famous attraction in London and attract large amounts of people we chose this location because it nice imagery and i think it would be a nice venue to use in my music video.

The living room will be used to express the love emotion and the hate emotion that will occur in the music video.
This is just a representation of Westminister and i want to use that area because of the lighting at night if we can film there at a certain time.
I want to use this place at night time because it is lively and a good place to use when showing the isolation the girlfriend has when she has the tragic news.
Valentines park will be used when the Friend of the Girl and her start talking and he starts to comfort her.

Sunday 10th February 2013
Over the last week we were offered to choose a partner to work with as the project went on, and I chose Jared because I’ve known him for a long time and he is a good friend and I know that we can finish the whole project on a high. After picking our pairs we began to go into more depth about the music video and also we were given many sheets which we had to fill out and these sheets were all about asking for our crews’ agreement to having them in our video and also to be at a certain place to be part of the film. We were also given a timetable to look at and allocate certain days to do some filming and also to be part of someone else’s video. When we started Mr. Phillipsons lesson on Thursday started off by sir giving us a planning sheet and that sheet is to help us put what we want the video to look like on a sheet. For Friday’s lesson we knew that we had to be prepared to do difficult work but the good thing is that we were confident that we would get what we needed done. We were told to go onto a spreadsheet on the computer and put all the shots that we need onto there, this is to put our whole idea onto a spreadsheet so we can work from it.
Throughout these last couple of lessons me and Jared have been able to get the work done to good standard and we are both confident and pleased with each others progress to the work.

This week has been very helpful to us as we have been able to finish all the work we started. The work that we were able to finish off was the production work and that work was all about sheets that had to be filled in for our actors to sign to show us that they are committed workers to our group, we also had to have a look at the location we used to see if it is perfect for our whole music video and to mine and Jared’s likings I think the areas that we have chosen are perfect for what we want. I individually had to look at the risks that can happen when filming and I found a lot but none of them apart from thieves are serious. We also had to finish of all of the shooting script that we started a week ago, that bit of work was challenging because we had to know the lyrics and also know how we wanted the video to look like. Throughout these last couple of weeks me and Jared have been able to get all the work done before deadline so we were able to look ahead to see how we can prepare the work and how we can film all of the needed footage to top quality.

When school finished for the half term me and Jared were able to get some filming done for our music video and the filming that we got done was on a Thursday and that day in particular was very cold and we had to go up to the south banks in London to do our filming. The weather was so cold that it sometimes distracted us from our work, but to finish the work me and Jared had to stay focused which we did so we ended up getting what we need. We still have shots to do which we are able to finish off after school sometime as well as helping someone else's group. During the filming we had to stick to the shooting script, we may have to change some shots because it's hard to keep to the script when you think of something better when filming.

Over this last week, me and Jared were supposed to start editing but other groups wanted us to film in their video so we went able to get most of our editing done. Means Jared were supposed to get some filming done over the weekend to finish off our video but the people we had chosen weren't able to be available so we had to delay our filming and we ended up not getting the footage done, which is upsetting. The main objective of this whole week was to help other groups out but also be able to finish our video so we are all level on where we are withheld course.

Over this week we have had a troublesome week because we have had to re film everything because our footage that we had didn't work well with the song and also everyone that we had picked to be in our video decided to pull out due to mothers day so we had to ask our back ups to be in our video but even they pulled out, so we had to pick my fellow partner Jared to be the main artist who will sing in our video. I did offer to play the roll as the artist but I didn't suit the roll so we choose Jared which was the safest idea. On Saturday we had to go all the way to South Bank where we had done filming before but this time it was to re film everything that we needed up at south bank, we did get what we needed yesterday so all that was left was to film the rest of the song back at chadwell heath, we also got what we needed done so all we have left to do is start editing our whole song and to at least have some footage to show the class on Thursday.

Once again we had to re film everything as sir noticed many problems with our music video, sir requested that we re filmed all the scenes so during this week we had to head all the way back up to south bank to film a chorus and many other scenes that we can put into our music video, it took us atleast 4 hours of filming before we got what we needed there and then came the next day where we had to head back up to london but we had to choose a different location so we can make our music video so much better. We moved after using a certain location twice, only so that the video doesn't get boring for the person that watches our video, we got all our footage that we needed filmed and once again nisha was able to help us out because she was in the video, so we owe her many thanks for participating. All we had to do by Wednesday was finish editing and we also had to film a bit of performance part on a white screen, so we did that and it worked very well with our song. We also finished editing everything so we are done. Once again thanks to nisha for helping us out.

This week was a challenging week because this was the week that we had to finish off all of our music videos as the project was coming to the end for the editing, throughout monday, tuesday and wednesday we had to stay after school so we can get most of the editing done before the deadline. The editing that we had done on that tuesday looked really good but we still had lots to do. when wednesday came, we knew it was gonna be a long day. We ended up staying till 7:45 at night before we were alowed to leave but we had to leave knowing that the work was done to our best standard. Me and jared are happy that the editing of the music video is over but we have still got work to do to make sure that this project is over.

jobs roles and responsiblities
Camera operator & editor= Gareth Fisher
Director & production manager= Jared Sinclair
I chose Gareth to be the camera man because he has used one before and also he is able to get the vital camera shots that we need to make this music video. Gareth is also responsible for the camera and tri pod as he is the camera man and Gareth is also the editor and I will have to work with him and check that he is making this music video to the highest standard that we need. We will work well together and we should be able to make a high class video.
I will be the director because I know what I want the whole song video to look like and I will be able to put all the ideas from my head into visual art. The responsibilities that I will have are to be there and ready to film and also for them tricky situations that can occur at any moment when filming. I am also the production manager and this role will consist of taking control and being able to know what’s going to happen on the day of filming. The video should will be brilliant under my control.

Questions about pitch
Are there any areas of the presentation you would like to give any more detail on?
My music pitch went well but there is always parts where i didn't give enough information about and that is how I'm going to show the window being smashed and also how i will do this with out engaging attention from the public. I may do this whole scene near a scrap yard or ask permission to go in there and smash a car window but otherwise i will need to take this part out of my music video.
What did your audience identify as the strengths of your music video idea?
The strengths that the audience may have identified would be the choice of clothing i will have in my video and also the idea of having the clothes a certain colour like red. as i said about the colour in my presentation i saw most people nodding their heads because they thought it was a good idea and that they can easily know who the main person was in my video.
What did your audience identify as areas of improvement?
The areas that the audience said i can improve on will probably be the idea of moving to a different location because being local can seem quite boring so exploring somewhere else could make the video seem more entertaining. Another area to improve on will be the age group that i have chosen for this song, my age group estimation was 17-25 but i was told that many 13 year olds' are acting like gangsters so i may have to reduce my age group to 13-25.
What changes will you make to your music video concept based on the feedback you received?
when considering feedback into my presentation i will say that i got a lot of help from the audience and that most of the information told to me can help me out with my video. The feedback that i was told was about my locations, narrative throughout video, ethnicity, cast, younger aged gangsters, gang detected, avalibility to clothes, transport, background (dark), pace of lyrics, gang causing mayhem and other camera styles. All these points will be thought about before i attempt to start my music video, i will need to think about lighting and location and also about my cast that i will have in the video. My artist identity
Demay
Demay is 25 year old man and he is a UK hip hop artist from west hertfordshire, just outside north London.
He has been making music for 5 years and over those 5 years he created some singles which were soon turned into an album.
Demay is still hoping to make it onto the charts with his songs.
The clothing that i will like my performer to wear will be baggy jeans and a white shirt with a designer jumper over the top and also accessories which will be a snapback (hat) and also a G-shock watch and for the shoes i will want the performer to wear Nike high dunks because this will all be an image about life on the streets.
All these clothes will match the scenery that my song will have in the video. I will like them to wear these clothes because all these clothes have a meaning, the meaning is that they are red and red means danger. Red will work well with the scenery and how he is the main culprit of all this.

These two picture are just some of the pictures that i think Demay will want turned into a video for the song because the song is all about gangs and how this women in the song is annoyed by a gang of boys which smash her window and cause problems for her. This video is all narrative and illustrating because when you see what happens will have an effect on you rather than having something else happen.
